House. Circa mid C18. Rendered and painted stone rubble, partly slate-hung on side
elevation of rear projecting wing. Rag slate roof partly cement-washed and bitumen
coated with gable end on right, canted hipped end on left, half-hipped to stair
projection on rear and hipped end to rear projecting wing to right. Brick axial
chimney stack, originally rear lateral stack to room on right.
Plan altered, probably originally of 2-room plan with right-hand room heated by rear
lateral stack and further room added to rear on right. Entrance possibly moved from
near centre to right-hand side of front elevation. Front elevation partly obscured
by later property added to front.
2 storeys asymmetrical 2-window front. Part-glazed C19 entrance door on right and 2
gabled half-dormers with 4-pane sashes above. Rear projecting wing with C19
fenestration.
Interior with C19 joinery and C20 chimney-piece to room on right.
Picturesque elevations to narrow alley on side and rear.
