Two houses. c1800, with late C19 alteration. Orange-red brick
in Flemish bond on painted stone plinth, with stone steps and
timber eaves cornice; pantile roof with brick stacks to left
of centre and at right end. 2 storeys and attic; 3 window
front. Entrance to No.43 up 3 steps, to right of centre;
entrance to No.41 in rear access passage at left; 6-panel
doors to both, with divided overlight to No.43. Windows
throughout are sashes with painted stone sills, of 16-panes at
right end, and 12-panes to left and over front door. All
openings have painted wedge lintels. 2 flat-topped dormers in
attic, the left one with unequal 12-pane sash, the right with
4-pane sash.
