1353-0/4/277 Stable at Pidford Manor

GV II

Stable and hayloft. c1795 in a Neo Classical style similar to
Samuel Wyatt. Built of coursed Isle of Wight stone rubble with
yellow brick dressings and hipped tiled roof. Central
projecting pediment flanked by brick pilasters and horseshoe
arched coach entrance. End brick pilasters. 1st floor loading
door in centre of each wing. Ground floor has to each wing 2
Diocletian windows and central cambered stable doors. Left
side retains stall partitions and brick floor. The central
part has a cobbled floor.
