House, formerly rectory. C17 core, extended in C18 with early
C19 extension to rear. West wall of stone rubble, south wall
has brickwork to 1st floor and is cement rendered below with 1
storey extension to rear completely rendered. Tiled roof with
2 brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys 2 windows. C20 leaded light
casements. C19 gabled porch. Gable has brick tumbling and
stone kneelers. Attic window to gable. Rear elevation has
external stone chimneystack engulfed in C18 outshut with brick
window dressings and early C19 brick extension. Lounge has
spine beam with 2 inch chamfer and lambs tongue stop and open
fireplace with chamfered beam with run out stop. The
pre-Reformation Clergy House was on a different site.
