SW 98 SE ST ENDELLION DOLPHIN STREET, (north side),
Port Isaac

House. Circa early C19, possibly with earlier origins. Stone rubble and cob,
rendered and painted. Rag slate roof with gable ends and stone rubble and brick end
stack.
Plan altered. Possibly originally two room and cross passage plan with left hand
room (on east) heated by gable and stack. Probably originally faced north east onto
small court approached from Temple Bar. Reoriented to face south east, onto Dolphin
Street.
Two stories. Almost symmetrical two window north west from with C19 twelve-pane
sashes, the ground floor windows with brick segmental arches. Central C20 part
glazed entrance door.
Asymmetrical south east front, set back from Dolphin Street. Left hand side set
slightly forward with small gable to right of centre, 12 pane sashes and C20
fenestration.
Interior: Partitions removed on ground floor. High quality circa 1700 timber
bolection moulded fireplace on east gable end, possibly resited. Interior only
partly inspected.
