Round cottage. Circa 1820. Painted rubble and cob with wheatreed thatch conical
roof. One room plan. 2 storeys. Arched entrance to south with original Gothick
tympanum now partly blocked and with C20 casement with glazing bars. Original arched
ground and first floor window openings to west with stone studded borders. Old
casement window to first floor rear. Bobbin-turned, cross finial to roof. Interior
not inspected. One of 5 round houses built in Veryan by Hugh Rowe, a Lostwithiel

reason is economy.
