GV II

House. Early C17 with C15 rear range. Timber-frame and
plaster; Welsh slate roof, front pitch raised; brick stacks to
rear. 3-storeys and cellar; 3-window range: central 2-light
cross window flanked by mullion and transom 3-light windows,
all with leaded glazing and casements; set in close studding.
Moulded bressummer on consoles; similar fenestration in
chevron braced box framing, over moulded plate with light
studding over, which suggests raising of front pitch in
C18/C19. Ground floor has central plank door in C20 doorcase,
flanked by 2 mullion and transom casements, under moulded
bressummer on enriched consoles. C20 brick plinth. Stuccoed
left gable. INTERIOR reported as having 2-bay open hall in
rear range with open arched-braced truss.
