House. C18 and C19 to earlier core. Roughcast; hipped plain
tile roof with hipped gable over central porch bay; two C20
brick stacks to front. 2-storeys and cellar; 6-window range:
6/6 sash in protruding porch bay, flanked by pairs of 6/6
sashes; moulded wood eaves. Part-glazed panelled door in
panelled case with moulded architrave, recessed in stucco
porch with moulded semi-circular arch on moulded springers,
and flat hood and frieze on pilasters with Ionic capitals.
Return to left has 6/6 sash, over plank door to cellar,
recessed under cambered head, and approached by steps from C18
wrought-iron gate and railings.
Wing to left has 6/6 sash with similar over, and return to
Bell Lane has ornate oriel to first floor, with round-headed
plain sashes and wood modillion eaves on scrolled, fluted
consoles; blocked opening below. Fixed light with
margin-glazing and coloured lights; brick stack from 1st
floor; hipped roof; brick ridge stack to right; C18 gable and
parapet with moulded stone coping and blocked circular opening
of C18 original house, visible to rear.
Further 2-storey wing; 2-window range of 3/6 sashes. To right
steps to recessed round-headed margin-glazed door with
coloured lights; flat hood on moulded pilasters. Tripartite
2/2: 6/6: 2/2 sash under segmental, arch to left.
