Farmhouse. Probably early C17 with later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed
slate-stone, painted (3 over 3 panels), roughcast to left gable end; slate roof
with painted slate-hung gables. Original symmetrical plan of central 2-storey
projecting gabled porch flanked by gables; extended to right. 2 storeys. 1:1:1
windows; tripartite glazing bar sashes except porch which has C19 casement to first
floor and 6-panel door (3 over 3 panels) in moulded wood surround. Slate datestone
above entrance legible at time of resurvey (December 1987). Rendered internal end
stack to left and ridge stack in 2 sections, (formerly an end stack) at junction
with addition/straight joint immediately to right of stack). Addition has C19 case-
ment directly below eaves and paired C19 casements on ground floor to right of
stable door under corrugated iron lean-to hood. Interior: Inspection not possible
at time of resurvey but likely to be of interest.
