1934-39. Local stone rubble, whitewashed. 2 tall storeys, on sloping
site with arcaded basement. Steep roof of slates, gable ends. Round
stair turret. Tall narrow round arched windows with simple bowed iron
balconies. Tall ground floor French windows with panelled shutters.
Interior room with very high ceiling with thick joists painted by the
architect, and narrow tapering hood over fireplace. An irregular plan,
long 2 storey wing added in 1966.
