Farmhouse, now house. Earlier C19 with later C19 extension.
Roughly coursed granite rubble, of larger blocks to extension;
gabled slate roof to main range and scantled slate roof to
extension; rendered ridge and
end stacks. 2-unit central-staircase plan with separate
entrance to one-unit extension with left-hand staircase to
right. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Granite lintels over two C20
doors, late C19 horned 2/2-pane sashes, 2-light casement to
first floor on right and small window over central door to
main range. Interior remodelled in C20.
An example of a farmhouse adapted for an extended family unit;
it is also associated with its brewhouse (q.v.).
