3 houses, built as part of the Fence Almshouse development,
dated 1871. Brick with half-timbering and stone-flagged roof.
Nos 90 & 92 face Buxton Road, a pair of single room, double
pile houses, with outer doorways and squared bay windows with
lean-to roofs that continue as porches over entrances. 4-pane
sashes above. Passage entrance to right. No.88 has chamfered
angle with paired 4-pane sash windows in stone architrave, a
dentilled sill band continuing as string course. Return
elevation has half-hipped timber porch with oriel window over
in high gable which projects above the roofline. 4-pane sash
window on each floor to right, beneath small timbered gablet.
