Pair of houses.
Built between 1836 and 1846.Brick with stone dressings, slate
roof. 3 storeys with basement (blocked 1984) and 2 bays to
each house. Basement lintel band, 1st floor sill band, top
frieze and cornice. Windows have wedge lintels and are
sashed with glazing bars. Round-headed entrances with Doric
doorcases and 4-panel doors; No. 49 has complete fanlight.
