House with shop. Early or mid C19; late C19 shop front. Solid,
rendered front wall. Slate roof. Base of rendered chimney on
right side-wall. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Ground storey
arranged in 2 bays flanked and separated by pilasters with
shaped raised panels on the shafts. Upon each pilaster stands
a large console supporting an entablature with enriched
architrave and cornice, the frieze decorated with foliated
panels corresponding to the consoles. Original display windows
in right-hand bay, flanking a recessed glazed door. 6-panelled
house-door in left-hand bay, the 2 lowest panels flush;
approached by a flight of 3 grey stone steps. Sash windows
with recessed box-frames in the upper storeys. Those in second
storey have horns and margin-panes to the upper sashes; those
in third storey are 8-paned. INTERIOR not inspected.
