Row of 3 small cottages. C18. Limestone rubble, double Roman
pantile roofs continuous with No.76 (qv) to the left;stepped
stone coping and brick stack to right gable end, brick stacks
to party walls. Single-unit plans. 2 storeys; 3-window range.
No.74, to the left, has a C19 planked door adjacent to that of
No.72; these are flanked by C20 two-light casements, the first
floor window of No.72 is set in a gabled half dormer. Both
have wooden lintels to all openings. No.70, to the right, also
has a half dormer and C20 three-light casements to both
floors; the door to the right and the ground-floor window have
flat gauged arches. INTERIORS not inspected.
