House, now 2 shops. Late C18 altered c1970. Coursed and
squared limestone with Ham Hill stone doorcase, cornice and
coping to the parapet wall; slate roof. Double-depth plan. 2
storeys; formerly symmetrical 7-window range. The shop to the
right is 4-window range, that to the left is 3-window range.
Keyed stone lintels over first-floor C20 plate-glass sashes
with forward frames. The shop to the right has a C20 shopfront
to the whole ground-floor. To the far left of the shop to the
left, is a tall, deep, open pedimented doorcase, repositioned
from the centre, with engaged Tuscan-style columns, triglyph
frieze, panelled soffit and a cast metal fanlight. The door is
6-panel with the smallest panels to the centre. To the left of
that is a lead downpipe with a bell-shaped hopperhead.
