Houses, now shop and dwelling. C18. Roughcast; stucco (to
No.7); Welsh slate roof, hipped to right, with stone tiles to
rear; 2 brick end stacks; ridge stack and stack to left front.
2 storeys; 5-window range: to left, C19 6/6 casement in
moulded case; then two 6/6 sashes in broad moulded cases; to
right, two C20 2/2 sashes; wood modillion eaves to Nos 8 & 9.
No.7: late C19 shopfront with central C20 door, and side
light, flanked by windows with moulded glazing shafts; moulded
hood and fascia-board, on plain pilasters. No.8: C19
four-panel door in simple doorcase with moulded wood hood and
frieze on plain pilasters; 2 shallow canted bays with 2/2:
6/6: 2/2: sashes under linked cornice. No.9: part-glazed
6-panel door in similar doorcase; to left, altered 6/1 sash,
in broad moulded case. Right returned side: stone rubble;
rubble stack; returned shopfront; altered 3/1 sash under oak
lintel. Rear wing with C20 casement, and two C19 and late C19
sashes, over C20 half-glazed door and 2/2 sash; roughcast
gable. Wing to rear of No.8, with slate roof and rubble end
stack.
