House, formerly inn, now cottages. C17. Roughcast; Welsh slate
roof, with stone tiles to rear pitch and wing. 2 storeys and
attic; 3-window range: central 2-storey canted bay window with
C20 4/4:4/4:4/4 sashes under lead roof, with 6/6 sash in broad
moulded case in gable over; flanked by, to left, C20
small-paned 8/8 sash, to right, early C19 sash in broad beaded
case. Further canted bay with 4/4 sashes, and, to left, C20
plank door and simple doorcase with flat hood; to far right,
C19 panelled door in simple doorcase with pilasters, moulded
band and bracketed lead hood. Left returned side:
weatherboarding over sandstone rubble panel; 2-light casement
to gable. Similar wing with 6/6 sliding sash over early C20
paired 2/2 casements; brick stack to rear.
