House. Early C17, extended to left in early C20. Timber framed, exposed in small
sections of right hand return front with brick and render infilling, clad in C20
brick to the front with brick and tile hung extensions. Plain tiled roof, hipped
to right. Original house L-shaped with wing to rear, now with C20 gabled cross
wing to left. Two storeys. C20 stacks under diagonal shafts at junction of
wings, C17 front stack to left of centre and part rebuilt,C17 double stack to
right end. Square-pane leaded casement fenestration with four windows across
the first floor, three windows below. One 4-light window on each floor of the
gable to left. Glazed door now in porch recess with flat hood and thin pilaster
strip surround, to right of centre. Right hand return front:- further stack and
mortar galleting to eaves. Rear:- gabled wing to left projects, jettied on the
first floor with moulded bressumer and scroll bracket to end. Parallel range
across rear centre.
Interior:- some panelling and frame exposed.
