GV II*

House. 1876. R Norman Shaw, architect. 4-storey, basement and dormers. Mostly 7
windows. Red brick tiled roof. Carved eaves cornice. Overhanging first and second
floor, with second floor projecting beyond first floor, flanked by brick piers. Three
wide oriels with curved returns and semi-circular-headed central lights at first
floor. Leaded panes. Second floor windows long and narrow with glazing bars,
alternate windows 3-sided oriels with single brackets beneath. Central entrance with
swan motif over door.
