GV II

Boundary walling and gateway. Parts possibly C16, with C18/C19 modifications. Ham stone roughly squared and coursed,
ashlar dressings. Walling averages between 2 and 3 metres high, with thin coping, but towards east end it steps down,
and then has an angled coping with roll top. Westwards of Dairy Lodge (q.v.) the wall drops to about 1.1 metre high.
and then the north-west gateway is marked by two convex quarter circle lengths setting back to square ashlar gate
piers, with moulded plinths, cornice caps, steps and necked supports to ball finials, with C20 timber gate between. The
whole an important part of the setting to Wigborough Manor House (q.v.).
