SU 95 SW NORMANDY C.P. BAILES LANE

4/16 Bailes Farm House (formerly
14.6.67. listed under the parish of
GV II Worplesdon)


House. C17 with C19 extensions to right, altered in C20. Timber
frame to left on stone and brick plinth, underbuilt in whitewashed
brick, frame exposed above with ogee curved corner bracing; queen-
post gable end above. Plain tiled roofs, hipped to rear with two
end stacks to left and one to rear right. Two storeys, two gabled
end bays on front with one C20 casement window on each floor in
each bay. C20 glazed door to right hand return front under
pentice garage roof on brick piers.
Interior: Some framing visible in partition walls.
