House 1908 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Brick with plain tile roof and four large stacks.
2 storeys and attic under segmental dormers. Symmetrical 5 bay facade, projecting end
wings and recessed centre. Glazing bar casements, square on first floor; central
entrance bay projects slightly with tuscan pilaster strips either side'of arched
architrave door surround. Panelled door under flat hood with wooden panel above.
Garden Front: 5 bays; central 3 bay projection articulated by pilaster strips and
piers, stone coped and crowned with urns. Arched French doors to the ground floor,
square casements to the first floor; recessed panels above. Single storey wings to
both ends.
