Buddle house, now disused. C18. Coursed rubble. Circular on plan; formerly a gentle beehive shape, roof now partially
collapsed. Doorway 1.60 m high with 2 massive stone lintels; no window openings. For the buddling of lead. Excavations
have shown remains of lead ore on floor. (Buchanan C A and R A, Batsford Guide to the Industrial Archaeology of Central
Southern England, 1980; Cossons N, Industrial Monuments in the Mendips, South Cotswold and Bristol Region, 1967).
