Cottages. Dated 1867. Red brick, English bond, with alternate stretcher
courses in black glazed brick, Ham stone quoins and dressings; hipped
plain clay tile roof with bands of ornamental tiles, rafter ends exposed
at soffites; brick chimney stacks. 2-storeys, 2-bays each house.
Entrance doors in outer bays set in stone architraves with later timber
and tile roofed porches; plain chamfer mullioned windows with leaded
lights, 3-lights below and 2-lights above. Worked into front wall, part
obscured by porch roofs, in black brick "0.0.G. 1867". Extensions to
rear. One of an interesting group of mid C19 brick buildings in this
parish attributable to the Goodford estate.
