C16-17 small house of 2 storeys with floated rustication in rough plaster
on the facade. Tiled roof with slightly projecting cross-gable on the
West. Tall chimney stack has old brickwork in lower stages only. Modern
brick extension on the East. 2 windows; three-light leaded casements,
three-sided bay-windov of five lights beneath the overhang. Simple wooden
doorcase
doorcase inserted circa 1800. RCHM pages 120-121; VCH page 5.
Doorhood on cut brackets.

Nos 1 to 17 (consec). Nos 19 to 32 (consec) and Nos 35 to 40 (consec)
form a group.
