House, now offices. Possibly c.1680 as on rainwater head or early C18.
Extended mid C18 and early to mid C19. Further extended early and late
C20. Red brick, some stone dressings. Tiled roofs. 2 storeys. 7 bay
front: 3 builds, 1:3:3, original block in middle, mid C18 block to right,
early to mid C19 bay to left. Mid C18 block has entrance to left: 2
steps up to 6-panelled door, Gothic tracery to semi-circular fanlight,
panelled reveals, doorcase with brackets to frieze panels with urns to
dentilled open pediment. Flush frame glazing bar sashes in moulded
architraves, stone sills, gauged brick flat arched heads. Plinth,
dentilled brick eaves. Double span hipped roof. Original 3 bays to left
are set back slightly. Smaller sashes. First floor: blind window to
centre, 8 panes to left. Lower dentilled eaves. Cross axial stack to
right. Gabled C19 bay to left projecting forward, sashes, 2 ground
floor, 1 on first floor with a stone key block. Blind oculus in gable.
Diagonally set brick course to gable. Left end stack. C19 block extends
to rear left at an angle. Right return: continuous plinth and dentilled
eaves. 2 large extruded stacks with offsets and oversailing. Reset
rainwater head with date 1680. To rear: glazing bar sashes, dentilled
eaves. 2 gables to rear right. Link to C20 addition. Interior not
