House, formerly cottage and separate shop. Probably C17 but now much
modified. Local stone cut and squared, random coursed (much patched);
concrete tiles with plain verges; modern brick chimney stacks.
2-storeys, 4-bays. Entrance between bays 1 and 2 by a 1970's part glazed
door with old wood lintol over, small paned casement windows of l970's
in a variety of plainish openings. Interior much modified: principal
reason for inclusion the unusual first floor bacon curing chamber of
C17. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, June 1979).
