Circa 1700 (leases), remodelled mid C19. Rubble. 2 storeys and concealed attic.
Block dressings. Pantile roof with central chimney. 2 windows each, glazing bar
sashes. No 38 has 2 little shop windows on ground floor, the ground floor right hand
one with cornice; later 6-panel door. Central doors. No 38 has 2 windows in gable
end and an attic window - flush framed glazing bar sash. No 39, blocked windows
visible from inside and blocked lights to winder stair on ground floor and upper
1st floor left-hand side. Rear let floor ovolo moulded stone frame with hood mould.
Interior: No 39 has stone vaulted cellar, linked to attic by winder staircase.
Cambered collars to 3 bay roof structure. (See also RCEM. Trinity Area).
