Barn. C17. Timber frame on brick sill with remains of dark
weatherboarding. Steep roof and much of frame stripped of cladding but
complete. A 4-bays tall barn facing W with gabled porch in 2nd bay from
S with opposed double doors in rear wall of that bay, stepped jowled
posts. Mid-height rail staggered in height. Long straight braces to
tie-beams. Inclined queen-post roof with diminished principals and
clasped purlins. Added struts as collars. Scorching from fire on S end
timbers.
