EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and basement; 6-window range: 6/6 sashes under gauged brick flat arches, to 1st and 2nd floors; wood consoles to eaves. Entrances to right: 6 fielded-panel doors and leaded overlights under moulded wood entablature on pilasters; to left, pairs of 6/6 sashes; stone sill-band over. Left returned side (No.1 Castle Green): central 6/6 sash under gauged brick flat arch, to 1st and 2nd floors, with returned sillband; part-glazed fielded panel door and leaded overlight, in panelled reveals, under moulded wood flat hood on pilasters; flanked by blind openings under gauged brick flat arches; stone and stucco quoins. Rear: tripartite 2/2: 6/6: 2/2 sashes, to 1st and 2nd floors, and to left, four 6/6 sashes with moulded architraves; continuous sillbands. INTERIOR: No.25: C19 open-well staircase with cast-iron balusters to 1st floor; stick balusters to 3rd floor. 3rd floor: 6-panel door. 2nd floor: 4-panel doors; fireplaces; 6-panel door. 1st floor: 6-panel doors; fireplace. Ground floor: fireplaces; 6-panel doors and double doors; coved ceiling with rose, coved ceiling and rose to hall. Basement: 6- and 4-panel door; plank door. No.26: dogleg staircase with stick balusters. 3rd floor: panelled door. 2nd floor: 4-panel door; 6-panel doors. 1st floor: 6-panel doors; wood fireplace; ceiling cornice and rose; skirting; architraves and shutters. Ground floor: marble fireplace; ceiling coving with rose; 6-panel doors with architraves. Cellar: 2-panel door; plank door; partly stone-lined. Grille.
