WYMONDHAM

TG1001 East House and West House and
655-1/7/4 attached wall to rear at Cavick

GV II

Pair of houses built against part of garden wall. Mainly early
and mid C19, but with extensive C20 alterations. Brick with
pantile and slate roofs. East House: 2 storeys. Early C19. 2
storey block with, immediately left, a deep entrance outshut
under a sloping roof containing panelled door. Main block with
a cross casement with glazing bars under a segmental head.
Blind, painted, 2-light cross casement to first floor. Hipped
roof. West House: 2 storeys. Long range of various dates
beginning at the mid C19 at east end, extended piecemeal to
west into C20. Roof slopes up to garden wall against which it
is built. C20 door. Two 19 casements to ground floor east,
otherwise windows are C20 replacements. 2 ridge stacks. Short
piece of garden wall shows to west between house and stables,
and is included. Rear wall pierced for window openings.
