Barn. 1809 (inscription). Red brick, some burnt, slate roof.
Rectangular, 5 bays, S front elevation: symmetrical 3 rows of
slit wind-eyes. Central waggon way has loading door over,
weatherboarded each side, main door C20 metal sheet. Each
side, middle and upper level loading doors. E end elevation:
gable has tumbled brickwork, inscribed stone `G' (Gibson)
1809. Integral rear lean-to, 2 central loading doors. W end
elevation: similar to E end but rear obscured. Single segment
headed loading doorway, owl hole at apex. N rear elevation:
simple, central waggon way, C20 metal door, wind-eyes as rest.
INTERIOR: oak and softwood framing, straight slender members,
single aisle. One post still has straight rear shore. High
cranked arcade braces, bolted knee braces, simple trapped side
purlin roof, bladed scarf joint in arcade plate.
