669-1/3/347 Railings on south side of park

GV II

Wrought-iron railings on S boundary of park set between Lion
Gate (qv) and the bridge over the River Cam (qv). 120m long
and 1.2m high. Early C19, square section bars with spear tops
and slender lower alternating bars, linked by semicircular
bars. Inner wrought-iron stays at 3.8m intervals shaped with
shoulder and curved leg.
