Two houses in one build. Early C19. Red brick with slate roof. Two storeys and attic storey. Six bays, the centre two bays broken forward. Brick string courses separate storeys. First and smaller attic storeys have sashes with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. Ground floor confused by former use of No.10 as a public house. No.8 to north commands only two bays of the six-bay whole. Panelled door to right under overlight and within timber doorcase. Sash window as before to its left. The similar door to No.10 is without doorcase and is in centre of elevation with a sash to its left, separating the two entrances. A single-storey bay is inserted between the glazed-in former arched carriage entrance to the right of the elevation and No.10's door. Gabled roof with a central hexagonal tile-hung glazed look-out cupola. Internal gable end stacks.
INTERIOR of No.10 with an open-string staircase: stick balusters, ramped handrail.
