Shown on OS Map as Nos 2 and 4.
House, now shop, on corner of East Street and Ditton Street.
Late C18. Painted brick with painted stone dressings and
hipped slate roof. Double-depth plan. East Street front a
2-storey, 3-window range. The ground floor is a C20 shop.
First floor has 6/6-pane tripartite sash windows flanking an
8/8-pane sash to centre, all in plain surrounds with stepped
keystones. Moulded eaves cornice. Rusticated quoin to long
right return which has a platband and one tripartite window to
first-floor right, above a blocked doorway, both in plain
surrounds with stepped keystones. INTERIOR totally altered.
The rear part was formerly listed as No.1 Ditton Street in
19.8.70.
