over brick, roofs and stacks concealed behind parapets.

storeys over basement, mostly 1-window frontage, all except
No.9 with full-height, fully glazed bow fronts, entrances
adjoining, some with windows inserted in entrance bay, sash
windows with variety of glazing bar patterns, individual
cast-iron balconies, rusticated ground floors, square-headed
entrances, variety of doorcases and porches, paired and single
pilaster doorcases, some with Corinthian capitals. Cast-iron
railings returned from entrances to street frontage with gates
to basement areas.
