House. Mid/late-C17. Coursed limestone rubble; roof has stone
slates to front slope, Welsh slate to rear; rebuilt brick
right-end stack in front slope just below ridge. Two gables to
street. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Two C17
three-light chamfered stone-mullion windows to first floor
with hoodmoulds; 2 similar 2-light windows with hoodmoulds in
gables above. Two similar 3-light windows with hoodmoulds to
ground floor. Plank door in chamfered stone surround with
Tudor-arched head to left. INTERIOR has small winder
staircase; beams with step and run-out stops; late C18 stone
chimneypiece in ground floor front left room said to have been
inserted by Gillman's the local blacksmiths in C19 (cf Nos 1,2
and 4 and 12 Park Street, No.6 Blackjack Street).
