This incorporates a timber framed building probably late C15 or early C16 in the north west corner but the front facing Dover Road is C18, altered in the C19. Two storeys, four windows, red brick. Parapet with ball caps at its angles. Glazing bars missing. Victorian bays built out on the ground floor.

Bartlemas and the complex of St Bartholomews Hospital form a group.
