War memorial. c1920. Marble with bronze statue. Of square plan, with
base of two steps. Clasping buttresses at corners. Surmounted by statue
of soldier with rifle. Plaque records dead of 1914-18 war, with second
plaque added to base with names of dead of 1939-45.
