10/5 Esh Glebe House

Vicarage, now private house. 1852. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar
dressings; Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings. 2 storeys, 3 bays, the
third wider. 6-panelled door and Tudor-arched fanlight with radiating glazing
bars in stop-chamfered surround under label mould. Stone-mullioned 3-light
ground-floor and 2-light first-floor windows hold narrow sashes with glazing
bars; gabled dormer above door contains single light. Gables have gablets on
kneelers, and cross-roll-moulded finials; left end, ridge and rear chimneys
with one, 2 and 3 octagonal shafts with plinths and coping. Rear wing parallel
to main block and projecting at left.
