2 cottages and former Post Office. Mid C18; former Post Office building on right
probably early C19. Coursed squared ironstone. Diagonally-set cement slate
roofs; The Old Post Office has coped gable parapets, on right with moulded
kneeler; stone ridge and brick end stacks. 2-unit plans. 2 storeys; 2-window
range. Moreton Cottage on left has part-glazed 6-panelled door. 3-light casement
with glazing bars to left. C20 three-light casement on right. Window with
glazing bars in right corner. First floor has 2-light casements with
cross-glazing. The Old Post Office has 6-panelled door. 3-light casements,
2-light on first floor on right, have glazing bars. Former Post Office is
one-window range. Ground floor has wide 8-light casement and 6-panelled door
under single lintel. 3-light casement with glazing bars above. Interiors not
inspected.
