5/96 Table tomb to memory of
Dr. Robert Fowler ½ yard
south of south vestry of
Church of St Mary and
All Saints
G.V. II

Table tomb. Early C19. Stone on stone base with moulded plinth
and corniced lid. Panels on either side of recessed inscription
have shallow vertical roll mouldings. Inscription on south
side:- "Sacred to the Memory of Robert Fowler DR. of this
Parish who was prematurely cut off in the vigour of youth..."
Date of death on east end 1814. North and west sides blank.
Inscriptions largely illegible at time of resurvey.
