House. Eatrly Cl9, possibly incorporating earlier work.
Weatherboarded throughout; lead roofs. The rear range lies
roughly parallel to the front; the fact that it is not exactly
aligned suggests it belongs to a different building phase.
Internal brick end stacks to both ranges. Front: 3-storeys;
symmetrical 3-window range; 12-pane horned sash windows
throughout with slightly projecting surrounds, 2 windows only to
1st floor. Central doorway, panelled surround, canopy on shaped
brackets; raised panels to door. rear block jettied to E with
2 sash windows to upper floor, 2 casements to lst; glazed porch
and casement to ground. The low brick wall with recessed panels,
stone plinth and copying, curved to either side of central
doorway, is included in this listing.
