Terrace of small cottages apparently incorporating mid C17 structure but mainly
rebuilt early C19. 2 storeys. Stuccoed. String course, cornice and parapet.
Pitched slate roofs, very steep to No 8. Windows in moulded architrave surrounds
with angle roundels; glazing bars intact. Higher parapet to No 12 with inscription
"Manor Road" and ball finial at either end. No 16 has an addition to south with
one large tripartite window on ground floor. Simple early C19 chimney pieces.
Some ground floor window bays built out.
C19 stuccoed dwarf walls along road with rounded coping. Low wall separating
gardens between Nos 8 and 10. Stuccoed dwarf wall with piers with peaked capping
return along entrance drive to No 8; stuccoed pier with ball finial to south
of entrance; at west end of entrance drive another pier flanking flight of steps.
Stuccoed piers with ball finials in garden wall to No 16.
The Duke's Head Public House, Stable Block, Nos 8 to 20 even and Nos 32 to
40 (even) form a group.
