House and cottage. Early C19. Coursed squared marlstone with some
limestone-ashlar dressings; brick; Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. 2-unit
and single-unit plans linked by an archway. 2 storeys. 4-window front, with
12-pane sashes, has a depressed-arched vehicle entry in bay 2, the doorway to
Rose Dene between bays 3 and 4, and the doorway to Ruse Dene Cottage to right of
bay one, both with 6-panel doors below overlights. Windows and doorways have
flat arches, all with rusticated ashlar voussoirs as has the archway.
Shallow-pitched roof has 3 stacks. Rear is partly brick. Interior not inspected.
