House. Mid Cl7 altered C20. Coursed squared marlstone with some wooden lintels
and some limestone-ashlar dressings; concrete plain-tile roof with brick stacks.
3-unit plan with service bay and garage bay, now sub-divided. 2 storeys and one
storey plus attic. Left and middle bays of 3-window main range (No.7) retain
3-light C18 casements at first floor and restored 4- and 3-Iight stone-mullioned
windows with labels at ground flour. Doorway with 6-panel door, to right of bay
2, is probably the original entrance. Bay 3 has C20 windows plus a second
doorway. Lower bay to right has a 4-light stone-mullioned window with label plus
a further mullioned window in the gable; it has been raised with a C20 dormer.
To left of main range is another lower bay, now a garage. Steep-pitched roofs,
the main range with stacks to both gables and to left of bay 3. Rear of No.8 has
a rectangular stair projection. Interior not inspected.
