House now offices. Early C18 with later alterations and additions to rear.
Rusticated ground floor and stuccoed first and second floors. Slate roof. Brick
end stacks, the one to right on a rendered base. 3 storeys; 3-window range.
Off-centre doorway to left has panelled reveals, fluted imitation pilasters and
hood on consoles. C20 door. Doorway is flanked by sashes with glazing bars
(4-pane width) and moulded stone surrounds. Doorway to right has C20 door and
moulded stone surround. Moulded band to first floor. 3 sash windows to first
floor have moulded stone surrounds and glazing bars (4-pane width). 3 similar
windows to second floor. Interior to No.43: dog-leg staircase with square
newels, fireplace with bressumer, part of wooden winder stair, chamfered beams.
