SO 4461 KINGSLAND CP LONGFORD (north side)

13/41 The Post Office

GV II

House. C17, remodelled early C19 with some mid-C20 alterations. Timber-
frame with painted brick infill and hipped tile roof. Main stack to rear
with brick shaft, small external brick stack to left-hand wall. South front
of two storeys with dog-tooth brick cornice. Three windows, central one
blind, flanked by 3-light casements, all under segmental heads. Central
entrance has a flat canopy on scrolled wooden brackets, the door is of four
panels, the upper two glazed. Framing visible in side walls, two square
panels high raised in C19. Interior has exposed chamfered and stopped beams.
