Bridge House and railings with county bridge marker

House with railings and attached county bridge marker. Early C19. Ashlar, graduated stone slate roof. Two storeys, three bays. Quoins raised. Central gabled porch with quoins, C20 door in plain stone surround, convex frieze, cornice. All windows sashes with glazing bars in plain stone surrounds. Modillions. Stone coping to right with end stack, to left a ridge stack.

To front: plinth-height stone wall with railings above. To right attached to wall an iron county bridge marker.

HISTORICAL NOTE: the bridge marker indicates that the county of the West Riding of Yorkshire was responsible for the upkeep of Burnsall Bridge (National Heritage List for England entry 1131738) and its approach road
